Guys & Pigtails?

I usually wear my hair in pigtails.A couple days ago i took them out just to see my boyfriends reaction. He said i looked stupid w/o them. Why?

I actually read an interesting article on humans and our association between familiarity and beauty. We are attracted to what we are comfortable with. So I think its less that you are unattractive w/o them or that he has a pigtail fetish and more that he is so accustomed to seeing you this way it was unusual any other way. My advice is to see a stylist or savvy friend and have him or her help you with styles that work with your hair texture, hair length and face shape. Then, slowly work these new styles into your repertoire. If he doesn't dig the gorgeous you in a variety or styles, its him not you, honey.

Just a side note... honesty is one thing, but as long as he doesn't constantly degreed you. Him saying you look stupid may be a red flag? Like I said, its just a possibility of something deeper... but most likely he is just used to your pigtails!
