Question:

If oxycodone is the cause of low testosterone, how long after going off of it does the level naturally rise?

He was on oxycodone for just over a year and has been off for almost two weeks.

There are extensive studies concluding that longterm use of narcotic pain medications can result in low testosterone levels. This is confirmed by PCPs, endocronolists, and other medical professionals he has seen.


Answers:

Depends on the usage if used 40mg daily for a solid year would take about a month to month and a half. How ever sometimes when you decrease the testosterone it may not come back at all, and you would have to take supplemental testosterone. It's very common for pro body builders due to the steroid use. hope this helps.
