Gained weight too quick! ooops....?

i am a guy... i have been a tad underweight in the past because i always undereat tho i have been normal weight recently. one day i decided to go to the gym and start doing weights, i also started eating more to compensate. but in the first week and 1/2 have put on about 7 pounds (scales keeps changing throughout day)!!! my scales also now read my body fat is 17.5 percent up from 14.3!!! i ate low GI healthy, small meals 6 times a day and did cardio as well??? what happened? could my scales be wrong? should i lose it or just carry on weight training and eating more?


Answers:

when you work out, you are also building muscle and the scale is something you should not really pay too much attention to. If you are trying to build muscle, keep working out and eat healthy.
