My partner and i have 4 children now he is thinking of getting a vasectomy i support him 100%. just wondering how much it will hurt him afterwards?how long to recover?anything about it would be great to know........

If he follows the doctors’ directions, it will hurt a lot less than getting a tattoo (just take Tylenol). Recovery is 2 to 5 days. It is a piece of cake. There will be no side effects.
If he does not follow directions, then he will get an infection. The recovery time will be 6 weeks.
It is that simple.
There are a few things that are great to know:
Once it is done there is no scar.
His sex drive may increase because there is no longer a fear of pregnancy.
There are no side effects.
I got mine at age 21. That was 20 years ago. I am so thankful that I got it.
