Weight Gaining for a 19 yr old male?!

Question:

Weight Gaining for a 19 yr old male?

I know an extremely ripped guy at work that's willing to help me gain weight. Unfortunately, I run about 10 miles a day, and since xc running is my top priority, it will be that much harder to gain weight. For the record, I'm very very thin, with weight ranging from 100-105 lbs. I'm a 5'6 19 year old male, so I have a very high metabolism, since I always eat a lot. Some of the things my workmate have told me so far were to consume a 1.5/1 protein in grams/weight ratio daily, 3 peanut butter sandwiches a day (2 of them at night), drink whey gold protein drink during day, muscle milk at night, eat oatmeal w/ peanut butter & berries in it for breakfast, lift heavy weights w/ low reps, lean chicken & turkey some days, drink cell-mass gallon of H2O a day, veggies, and eat at least 3 sweet potatoes daily. He is giving me more info too, but can anyone add to this? If you disagree w/ anything please tell me why. Anything that would work better than whats listed above? T.I.A.

Answers:

Definately the ten mile runs have ALOT to do with your inability to gain weight!!! lmao>>,,,But....try to stay with as much bread and pasta as you can,,after reading about everything else you are devouring,I wouldnt be too worried about any deficiencies.....Also,dont trim your food....yeah you know what Im talking about!!! dont peel the extra tortilla off of your burritos,or peel off the extra bread on your sandwiches,,or pick out the fat from your chicken,or trim it off of your steaks,,,,,it will be hard to change your eating habits, but you sound pretty determined,so I am sure you can do it.....
