No, there isn't. if you think about it, it doesn't make sense. Why would shaving a beard make more hair follicles suddenly appear? The theory is flawed and is nothing but a myth. People may think that though because when they're still going through puberty if they shave very little, by the time what they shaved comes back, some new facial hair could have developed, making it appear like the shaving made more hair come. In reality though, hair just grows at the speed it grows.
