As for the 'soft' size (or flat) that does not matter. That size does not say anything about your erect size. As long as you can pee with it it's fine. Some guys are growers (where they are small when soft but grow a lot when erect) while others are show-ers (when they look big when soft but don't grow much more when erect). As for the erect size, the average for an adult is 6 inches or less. The only things that have found an average bigger than that are Internet surveys, which can be exaggerated and wrongly measured. Studies have found it as 6 inches or below.
