Question:

I am 6'2" and weigh 140, I look very skinny, is there any way I can gain weight in a healthy way.?

Before you suggest this, YES I HAVE TRIED EATING. In fact I eat more fast food than I should. I am very self conscious about my weight, and would like to preferably gain the weight as fast as I could. Any way to slow my metabolism?


Answers:

I was 6'4'' 240 and gained 40 LBs of Lean muscle during my athletic days in college. You need to eat about six times per day. By doing that, you will increase you matablism which helps you not gain FAT. Alternate a meal with a healthy snack, like apples, bananas, protein shakes, protein bars, nuts, anything else that doesnt have a lot of fat and is high in protein. You meals should consist of high protien and lower your fat and sugars. Carbs a 'OK' because they store up energy for you to use later but should be limited. Next, you should begin a weight training workout. Since your a beginner, three times per week is enough. If you havent worked out much in your life, you will see your weight gains immediately (within one to two weeks). Make sure you also do some cardio to burn off the extra calories. Your Cardio should be alternating (walk, jog, run, sprint....) because the change of pace helps you burn more calories in a faster amount of time than typical running at one speed. Finally, get plenty of rest and drink tons of water....you'll need it. This will help you gain weight immediately, keep your body fat down, and impress the ladies all at the same time.
