Chest pain's?!

Chest pain's?

Over the past year i have been getting sharp pains in my upper chest,mainly near my heart.
The pain usually lasts a max of 5 secounds.
Could this be a serous problem?
P.s im 19 , roughly 6 foot , around 65 kgs.

P.ss It just randomly happens theres no usual action that triggers it And i never have the time to go to the docters.
Also my dad has anjina and has been to hospital in the past with heart problems.

P.sss - Mr Chris O - Here in nz we use kg to measure weight and inchs/feet/centremeters/milime... for hight.

I know you are young but, I think you should still have it checked out by a cardiologist. You could have a congenital anomaly with your heart something you where born ith or without. The will run some simple blood test and probably do an Echo cardiogram and check for murmurs and regurg. Listen to your heart for normal heart sounds making sure you don;t have a valve defect. The will also do a CPK for the heart enzyme to make sure its not anything else. Its a good idea to have it check by a medical doctor.
