1...i hope your not just putting some lube on it and ramming it in there....you shold be taking 5-10 minutes or so to 'warm it up' with massaging the area, and penetrating with fingers(and lube)....

2....which position? doggy style? leave that for the movies!....in real life, the missionary positions (on your back) and legs wide open

3. which lube>? you should be using Asstroglide...(astroglide) its think, and slimey, and the name says it all.

4. a toy could help...they make plus and other toys specifically for getting that area looser, faster.
