Wedding CON?
Me and my wife got married on 2nd september 2006 we hired a man and wife wedding photographer. We chose the pictures we wanted in the album ad when it came to the time to pick it up we didn't hear from them. we have recently found ou they were on WATCHDOG in April for not giving another couple their pictures, Their phon line stopped taking in coming calls and they took their web page off the net. They took £2200 of us and we have recieved nothing, I know were they live and their flat is up for sale, all we want are the proofs back at least, Ive been on the net and found 30 other couples they have done this too, All iwant to do is go up to their flat and kick the s**t out of them and get the proofs back, but my wife said she doesnt want me in trouble with the police I'm desperate to get these pictures, Any Advise

Knock on the door and ask .... be as pathetic as possible.. but clearly they are heartless scum so don't hold your breathe..... there may be no proof shots or maybe not even any film in the camera.
Now take it from me... the wedding photos seem so important now... but if you do get them and put them in an album you will bore the life out of your friends and neighbours for the first month or so after you get them ..... you will then store them safely in a cupboard somewhere and that is where they will stay.. for at least the next 20 plus years.. until one of your children is getting married.... that's how it works...
I suggest the alternative, that you write to your geust list explaining the "issue" and try an get photos off your guests.. everyone has a camera on their mobile phone these days.. there will be dozens of photos of the wedding.... and perhaps you could pay a little, go into a reputable studio and get a nice portrait photo of the pair of you together in your fulll wedding get-up to hang on the wall.
The sooner you put the thought of those theiving turds behind you.. the better off you will be.
