What am i doing wrong, if any?!

What am i doing wrong, if any?

hi, i've been running 30 minutes daily, for about 2 weeks now, and im still having problems finishing the course, and i dont fell my cardio is any better, just the same...also my legs feel really, really tired, specially from the knee down....any suggestions as to why im not in "shape" yet? im only 155 lbs, so i dont think weight is an issue

i strech...but only for like 2 min....i go from point a to b rest and strech for like another 2 min. and go back from point b to a and strech a little bit more....i play soccer, so thats why i wanna get into shape


Answers:

You sound like a fit person, but go and have a complete physical. You never know what may show up. Could be the answer to your tired legs. Do you do any weight training for your calves. If not try this. Stand on a block of wood ( or you can just use a step ) and hang your heel half way off the back. Lower yourself a bit and then stand on your tip toes. Repeat this as many times as you can. Do it everyday. It is a great exercise for your calf muscles. You may need to strengthen them before you will notice an improvement with your running.
