The only safest sex is abstenance!! but thats no fun is it?? Condoms are 99% effective against unwanted pregnancy and STI's. The obvious risk is them splitting (so make sure you get the right size, yes you can get different sizes for larger or smaller sizes) most methods of contraceptives are 99% effective nothing is 100% (else you will be able to sue the makers if a pregnancy occurs)
