Any advice for squats?

I just started working out my arms about 2 months ago and I finally started working out my legs, whats a good weight to start out on squats? (im 16)


Answers:

It depends what you weigh and how strong you are. Start at 50 lbs, and try five slow steady squats. If its easy, go up 20 lbs. repeat adding weight if necessary.

Should be able to do about 12-15 reps to start. After a month, you can increase poundage so you have to stop at 10.

Older, you might limit to 6.

Be careful to use good form, so you don't get hurt.
