What is the difference between seminomas, and non-seminomas?!

What is the difference between seminomas, and non-seminomas?
I have looked at several sites and none seem to give me the specification of each type of testicular cancer. Which one is slower growing, and less likely to spread throughout the body?

As a guy I guess it's sad to say I've never heard of either. So I did a search on Yahoo and pulled on some good info on medicinenet.com. What I got from it is that nonseminomas are the most aggressive and have a tendency to spread to the lymph nodes. I guess I should thank you for the question, because I got the chance to learn about something that I should probably have known. I hope it's not because someone that you are close to has it.
