Im a grade ten straight male and im scared my voice sounds werid?
i thought my voice was find until recently when i herd it on recording and im afraid it sounds gay...no one has ever told me it does but i swear it does. i dont want to seem gay, i find when i speak a bit higher it doesnt sound as gay...does that make sense
or is it just my voice changing

But anyway, your voice could be changing. But during my adolescent years, my voice began to change. That's pretty early, but I think puberty occurs during the early teenage years. If you voice is just starting to change, you probably are experiencing puberty late, or the final stages of it.
Of course, you could also think about it: from your adolescence to your early teens, has your voice changed? If you don't know, maybe you could ask your parents, who deal with you everyday. They might have noticed if your voice changed or not during that time.
But don't worry if you sound gay on a recording. I always think I sound weird whenever watching myself on tape or hearing myself on recording. That's 'cuz my voice is really low. But when just talking normally, I feel my voice is pretty normal. That's how you should feel. Start worrying when you feel you're being misconcepted as a gay guy.
