Scar tissiue, please help?
my b/f had testicular torsion when he was 12, he had surgury 3 times for it which developed a lot of scare tissue in his testicals, 7 years later he is having the same exact pain...we are going to the doctor today. He says that last time it hurt it was becuase of the scare tissue but if he has surgury to remove it, it will just cause more scare tissue...is that true? i would think removing the scare tissue would end the problem?

Well, he got scar tissue from having surgery... When you hurt your body it, it tries to heal itself... and sometimes when wounds are serious (such as in surgery) it creates scar tissue.... So logic would lead me to believe that more surgery would just end up with more scar tissue.... But I may be wrong, It would also seem that if he got surgery to remove all of it, he would inevitably end up with scar tissue... but maybe WAY less that he had before....
