I got told at 18 that I had testicular cancer. I had to have a orchidectomy (remove of testis) They only removed one testical. But now im 21 i find it hard to be intimate with anyone. I have been with partners since the surgery, but never allow them to see me completely naked. I wont let partners go down on me etc. I just feel less of a man. How would you girls feel being in a relationship with someone with just one testical.

You should look into a prosthetic. You will look very normal, it is a solid silicone implant, matched to the size of your other testicle. I am kind of surprised reconstruction was not offered to you.

If this is something you are interested in see a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Some urologist do the procedure too.

I would put this a kin to a woman loosing her breast. It is very normal to want to look the way you used to.

I think this is an issue more about how you feel about it than what others think. Part of your personal identity as a man was taken from you but reconstruction can help you with your own self image.
