What food suppliment should i have to take?!

What food suppliment should i have to take?

i am going to gym reguraly but i cant able to increase my muscles even i try for extra weight lifting ,for that my master told me to take food suppliments from the gym which contian amino.
its like a powder he told me to mix that one in milk and to drink daily after my excerise,
do you think is this a best one for me to increase my muscles
or tell me what product should i have to use for this .
i saw a varity of products in health product selling shop how much this one is effective to human body.
