Osteoporosis questions!?!
Question: How many people per year get it? what's it's vector? what spreads it? how is it treated? is there a recommended over the counter treatment?
can you relieve the symptoms without drugs or equipment. what's the final prognosis? is there a cure? can it go away and come back?

WOW, that's a lot of questions. Osteoporosis is when your bones become less dense and may break easily. It happens naturally as you age. It's vector? no vector. It is not contagious. It is treated with calcium supplements and drugs to increase the density of your bones such as fosamax or evista, boniva, or miacalcin. It can be managed with drugs but it is not cured--only controlled. Symptoms: usually a broken bone such as a hip or wrist from falling. Prognosis is good with treatment. Untreated, causes pain--especially in spine because it conpresses the nerves.
