Extreme Acne Problems!!?!


Question: Hi, I really need help on this matter!!

I have extreme acne problems and have alredy tried

Proactive
Neotrogena
Clean & Clear
(Bunch of other face/acne washes)
Tried a dermotologist
Got acne cream and antibiotics
Tried old fashioned way (lemon)
And a shitload of other stuff that doesn't do anything to reduce my acne!!

Please dont tell me it happens to everyone coz i can point out alot of people who dont have a tiniest bit of acne!!

So any suggestions of what to do??

Well, I used to have a ton of acne and felt the same way because I'd see tons of people without any bit of acne. I used proactive but noticed my acne got worse within the next few weeks, i still continued using it and eventually my acne started going away. Most people quit too early because A) It's annoying to use it a few times a day or B) Doesn't have fast enough results. Well, I used it for about a month and a half and my face was getting clear. I stopped and I have some acne left but not much. I keep it under control by using Nature's Cure pills in combination with the nature's cure cream. Also, when showing, I use noxema wash for oily skin. Also, if its very severe, chemical peels (if you haven't gotten it done already) can help get you on the path to clearer skin
try burt's bee blemish stick (it's about $8-$9 at walgreens) another thing that works is clyndamiacine phosphate. i think you have to get a dr's prescription. good luck i hope this helps! Report It

    • the first question is where do you live that has alot to do with youre skin. how old are you? you could just be going through puberty, everyone goes through it.
    I used to get cystic acne really bad. Tried every medication, went to dermatologists and NOTHING! I still had the acne. Then one day I was at my piano lesson when my teacher asked me if I was drinking a lot of milk. I had always been told that milk was good for your skin and had been drinking it a lot. She told me to stop, b/c I was having an allergic reaction to the milk! I did stop drinking milk, switched to vanilla soy (not too bad on cereal) and don't have the problem anymore. I don't know if you are allergic to milk, but you might want to make a food diary and see if it tends to get worse after eating certain foods. It will take awhile, but it will be worth it. Good luck!
