Heroin addicts bring it all on themselves, anyone agree?!

Question: its not a fooking illness! it was their choice they started it they did not contract it!

Answers: its not a fooking illness! it was their choice they started it they did not contract it!

Yes! I agree with you all the way. Absolutely True. Well Said.

It's a choice, mostly no one is "forced" into it, maybe pressured but not forced.

Can't agree with that.

yeah got to agree with ya their, it was their choice, it just a weak person, that ends up chasing the dragon

Duh people need too think before they do stuff

i agree in some ways i hate people who sell and take drugs i will never understand why people think that they should take them because everyone else is. in the end your more likely to die from drugs than smoking.

Yoooooo Betcha Babe.....

Absolutely - same with smokers and alcoholics - no one forces them to do it - why should everyone else cough up to save them and make allowances because of their addictions!

Yes, nobody was ever made to take heroin, so a person that's addicted to that muck has only themselves to blame.

It's an illness they caused them self to have. They knew the consequences before they used it.

Absolutely no sympathy for them it was there choice there decision to take heroin

They are weak people who have let their animal instincts over-rule their own freewill.

The compassion you offer them is for you to decide.

For treatment, the only thing worthwhile is to attempt to put them back in charge of their animal instincts. Having fallen once, they may fall again. Otherwise they should just be kept away from others who may be influcenced by their behaviour.

There's no arguing - they started it themselves. Then they try to palm you off with "It's an illness".
So is booze if you drink it often enough.
So is pot if you smoke it often enough.
So is - well - You name it ! ! !

Well they have come out of the woodwork on this one.Compassion is a word that is needed here, lets not be too judgemental here

OK Buddy

Here are a few things to think about: What about children who are born heroine addicts, what about people who have been falsly imprisoned and have been injected against their will as a means of torture, what about people that have been abandoned by society, so feel they have some form of comradery with others that have issues with drug abuse.
And i would assert that the problem is not the people that are addicted, the problem is the people who sell this junk.
When we are sometimes ignorant to the nature of things i find it is often more prudent to think than to speak, as the thought process is there in order for us not to say insensitive and inaccurate things based on ignorance and intolerance.
Furthermore I was watching a programme recently called 'Crime Britain' and it is a fact that alcohol abuse costs our nation a ****load more money that the heroine problem does, but we seem to be employing a double standard here, and i think this is because alcohol is the nations 'chosen' poison. I hope the next time you get lagging drunk and fall over and maybe crack your skull open, someone says ''serves you right, because it's your own fault your drunk''
I would disagree with you, in that i feel 'all' addiction is an illness of the mind. Incidentally i do not use any illegal drugs, and i drink to be merry not silly, so i would not wish to be percieved to be in disagreement with you because i have issues with the drug myself, and if you feel so strongly on the subject, then why do you not do something productive. I am in no doubt your local MP will be only to happy to fight in your corner if you commit to a cause as worthy as the one you argue for.
My reason for suggesting this is because i have myself done it myself, and i realise how powerful we can be if we stand up and 'assert' rather than sit down and winge.
Hopefully you find my comments some minimal source of inspiration. I have an e-mail ad so if you wish to make any further constructive comments on the subject then please feel free.............

Take care and be well

Being an ex-addict,it's alot more complicated than you seem to think. It's a build up of all kinds of things as to why they use it.Mine started off as a depression problem.

I have a year and 9 months clean . You are right I did bring everything that happened to myself . I can say this though It starts as a party and the next thing you know you can`t function without or with it . It`s definately not worth the party. I lost a 4 br house my wife and son my job . Now I`m starting over . Every moment I spend with my son now is a blessing .

of course they bring it on themselves just as smokers do-fat people who eat too much food but i pity them too because i always think there but for the grace of god go i

This is only true in some cases. Believe it or not, some people are given heroin unknowingly by dealers with the sole purpose being to get them hooked so they keep on buying. Many young people who get hooked do so by their own choice, but usually because they have been abused and have no where to turn. Again, dealers and the like are always there ready to 'take their pain away'.

The comment about it being their choice is partly true, but the same could be said for smokers... why should they be treated for lung cancer when they know the risks? And alcohol... why should they be treated for cirrhosis of the liver when its a well know fact what alcohol can do?

Abso-fukin-lutely.

Aren't most problems we encounter inflicted by ourselves and our thoughts?

i agree, they should be neutered aswell to stop bringing little smack babies into the world.

DARK FAIRY smoking is alot different to heroin!

I do think they bring it on them selves and in my experience of knowing a few, i think they are scum too. The ones i knew had there kid took of them and used to steal anything. Waste of oxygen i think. blahhhhhhhhh smack heads

No one forces them to inject that filth into their veins, why don't they do us all a favour and overdose, no pity from me...

Yes Mme. I agree they started it, and they didn't contract it, but I ve got to disagree with your kind statement, which is completely right, but we ve got to look at it differently to find a space in our hearts to take them in even with a feeling of sympathy.....

Lots of victims in that remote & deserted place, and we could all assist to make it a forbidden one if we could...

IF THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY....

This works for both US & THEM......
