Parkinsons disease?!

Question: Ok, my leg shakes uncontrollably whenever there is no pressure on it. I know only older folks get parkinsons, but my dad has it, so I'm at a greater risk of getting it. Could this be the start of it? Or what is it? Is it possible for a teen to get it?

Rarely a young person can have it. If you're young and they start treatment early, there is hope to slow progression. I think that's what actor Michael J Fox has.

I recently found accidentally in a nurse's handbook that they sometimes treat Parkinson's with Benadryl.

I understand your concern about getting Parkinson's disease, my father has it as well. You're very young, a teenager so chances are it isn't Parkinson's, but the only way to know for sure is to visit your health care provider and discuss your symptoms and concerns. Generally Parkinson's disease develops in your 50s to 60s, but can ccur earlier in life.
