Bugs in hospitals?!
Question: i recently had to take my disabled little girl for an outpatient appointment and was disgusted by what i saw. we was waiting to get into a public lift when a porter went in with a cage of dirty linen. surely they should have used another lift. its no wonder why there are so many bugs in hospials nowadays. has anyone else experienced things like this. i have since complained about this, still waiting for a response.

You are quite right in raising this issue, it should not have happened, that's not I am certain, what that porter is told to do
Put your complaint in writing addressed to the Hospital Trust Senior Manager keep a copy but, advise them if you do not receive a satisfactory answer within two weeks. a copy will be sent to he local newspaper.

Clean it up. do it some good. thats a thought.
my dad is on a ward and has a bug going round so they told me not to take my kids to see him.a week later still can't take the kids but they move him to another ward so he will proabley take a bug to that ward and infect more paitents makes no sense to me
good luck, u could be waiting a while for a response, however, hospitals are now really cracking down on infection spread.
For example, consultants / doctors ties have been removed, sleeves must be rolled up, several doctors have had disciplinary action against them for not taking measures to reduce the spread of infection.
Hospitals are the mist disease ridden places in the world, If you are looking for a disease where would the most logical place you would go to find one, any and every disease can be found in hospitals around the world. They are filthy places by their very nature.Frightening but true.
