DOES anyone have THIS PECULIAR disease?!
Question: Myboyfriend got his blood pressure checked at the docs and it was extremely high!! So he got a machine to do it at home. he keeps getting low readings but as soon as he's at the docs its really really high!! Supposedly he has "white coat syndrome" a fear of going to the doctors or the dentist. Does anyone know about this?

I believe my mom has this. All it is is the body and mind have great anxiety about going to see the Dr. (white coat) and their B.P. rises...only to return to normal when they are in their own comfortable environment.

It's called "White Coat Hipertension". Called that way because the fear of Drs. or health professionals and the stress raises BP at the office.

I have it with my heart rate. My blood pressure is normal, but my heart rate will go sky high.
