A tumor is a baby cancer.
Yes. A tumor CAN be benign, meaning that it isn't spreading, it isn't doing anything it should not be doing to the body. If the doctor tell you a tumor is not cancerous, believe it. Still, keep an eye on it, and get it checked regularly. It could change.
a tumor can be benign (non-cancerous) or maglinant (cancercous)
