When does bronchitis become defined a chronic bronchitis??? I've been bad si!


Question: The doc started off saying YEAH I HEAR IT...but took another month to work on it. I'm on my second set of AB and my second $40 btl of cough syrup.
I'm short of breath and my chest burns.

Could I have COPD?

Are you sure it's not brought on by allergies? Mine gets worse during allergy season. Also, a lot of times bronchitis doesn't really respond to antibiotics. Sometimes it takes breathing treatments and the like. I would go for a second opinion with a different doctor if you've been that sick for that long. Something has to be going on.
