Pharyngitis Question, any suggestions for quick remedies?!
Question: Hi, firstly thank you for reading this. So here's my crisis
Since Friday (today is Monday for me), I've had a sore throat but it's only gotten worse. Then I started the usual fever, cold, but the doctor said it wasn't strep. Now, my ears have this throbbing pain like my eardrums popped and I can barely hear or speak.
TOMORROW I HAVE A SCHOOL PLAY!!!
I have a speaking role and I need some way to get better quick or at least temporarily.
* by the way, i've already tried Ibuprofen, nasal spray, and cough drops, which aren't working at all.
Any past experiences or suggestions are GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

You may need to get ckd for strep throat..the best thing OTC is a throat spray that has benzocaine in it..also salt gargles 3 x day are good...
