Please can anyone help?!
Question: i came out with a LOT of cold sores today. they're all over both lips and spread up to my nose and down my chin. they are really really itchy and sore. the thing is, i get them all the time but never this bad, and i'm going to manchester on friday to meet my boyfriends parents, friends and family! does anyone have any good ideas as to how to clear it up a bit quicker?? i have tried zovirax and some toothpaste but haven't helped at all yet, it's still spreading! help!!!

you need a prescription like valtrex. i take that for my cold sores. they may not fully disappear but it may shrink them. they may also give some kind of topical cream.
see your doctor for a prescription for Valtrex.
Sounds to me like you should go in and see the Doc, right away. Cold sores usually can be made to go away with a couple but yours sound severe, good luck.
