Question: How do you get rid of cold sores? I have one on the right side of my face right beside my mouth and it really hurts...and I just want to get rid of it without having to buy any expensive treatment things isn't there any like household stuff or like something else I can do to get rid of it quickly?

If you don't want to buy something, you can gargle listerine or salted water several times a day. (1/2 teaspoon of salt in 1-2 cups of water). This really helps because it kills the bacteria.

I used to get these often and this was recommmended to me by a doctor.
