I have a weakened immune system due to a congenital defect. Personally, the only one that actually pertains to having a weakened immune system is cancer. You and I are just as likely to have any of the others but I am more prone to certain cancers. A strong immune system will not prevent you from getting AIDS, diabetes or heart disease. However, even the possibility of cancer is not the worst consequence. For me...it is the worry that my family goes through each and every time I am not feeling well. THAT is the worst! (so far)

If and when you have Aids you have no immune system.
