first off, you shouldnt be taking it out yet. you should leave it in for about 6 months for it to fully heal. if there is puss (the yellow stuff) then it is a little infected. just keep it clean, use antibacterial soap ad warm water, wash away the crusties every day.
tea tree oil is good for it too. people always say dont use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, but i've always used it for a day or so if my piercing looked a little raw in the begining and i've never had a problem. just try to keep it clean. and make sure you're rotating it cause it can heal to the metal.

could be.. or hasnt been cleaned properly!! if persists take it out and go to the doctor!!!its mostly likely infected and u need to go to the doctor bc it can spread into ur stomach itself and cause many problems.. the article says if it has puss and is red, swollen its infected!! good luck :D god bless

yeah just a little lol.soak it in sea salt and just wash it regualarly...it should clear up

Keep it clean, and if the area around the ring starts to feel hot (warmer than the rest of your skin) then you will need to see a dr. That is the sign of a more serious infection that could spread.
