You will not of tried everything!
Go back to your doctors.
I was a sufferer of acne for around 2/3 years, it naturally goes when you are around 17-18, depending on how severe your acne is.
Go to your doctors and explain things haven't worked on your skin. I had to go back to my doctors about 6 times before I found something that worked. It is a trial and error, I used something called Panoxyl ( I think thats how it was spelt. ) It worked for my skin, however my friend who also had acne used Panoxyl, and it didn't work for her skin.
Don't be fooled into buying ''over the counter'' acne creams, I must of wasted hundreds of pounds on them, including scrubs and facial washes.
Also, try and keep hair out of your face, all the oils in it, good and bad can clog up skin and cause bacteria to build up, causing inflamous spots. Also, I do not mean to offend but if you are over-weight that can cause problems as well, I have no idea why but it is what the doctor mentioned to me, although I am not overweight, I don't think!
If possible, I know in some circumstances you won't be able to but simply wash your face with clean water every 2 hours, that cleans/wipes off any dirt on your face.
Oh and something that also helped me as well as cream is, when you go to school/college, you obviously touch doors, chairs, tables, other peoples things and other peoples germs, don't touch your face AT ALL until you have thoroughly washed your hands, don't lean your head on your hands for example, any dirt and germs on your hands goes straight on your face, clogging those pours.
The acne WILL go, it is just a matter of finding the right thing.
Good Luck, and this has to be my longest answer ever!

try proactiv.

My girl had the same problem until she used ProActiv. It is now gone!

try proactive and washing more often?!?

try dermalogica.com and find a spa that sells this product. Greatest for acne I've seen

eat 8 almonds a day

try cleaning your skin with bleach every night maybe it will work

umm make an oatmeal with egg white and honey does help!

Healthy living. Clean hygiene. Regular advice and treatment from your local docor.

you could be allergic to something, go to one of those doctor china shops that seem to be popping up all over the place and see what they say.alternatives is sometimes the soultion

see a dermatologist like seriously ...its not fun

i got an antibiotic and Differin cream i have been on it for about a month and it has really helped me

sometimes it could be your diet ..or an allergic reaction.

okay this is what im gonna say there isnt really anything to help you from what i have heard from people dont use soap on your face that does really help and takeing a shower 2 times aday does help the chocolate thing has nothing to do with acne but sugar from soda does and i quit drinking soda for awhile and i noticed a big difference give it about 3 months you will notice it trust me.

i think that you should definitely keep working on it. see another doctor..or a specialist. i find that tazorac cream works really well. and clearasil ultra. make sure to keep your face moisturized every day and protected from the sun. if you wear make-up, go for the water-based stuff. dont use too many different products and dont wash your face more than twice a day.

My daughter had acne really bad & resorted to medication from a dermatologist. Don't know how to spell it but it I'll have a go so you may be able to understand how to say it....'Riaccatane'. it is a very powerful drug & it works well. Your G.P should refer you if you ask him/her... Good luck

try eating food with vitimin A,C and don't touch your face that much or try proactive that really works.

If you have tried everything and it has not worked, then your condition must be treated innerly. I have had acne for decades, so take my advice seriously.

Acne can not go away just by drinking water, juices, washing your face or avoiding chocolates! This is a myth.

If you have bad acne, then it is bacteria and you have to treat them from inside.

First of all, go to the doctor. Ask for an antibiotic cream like Indoxyl. You can also take a treatment of antibiotics for some months.

But if it does not work, the only thing which can help you are the famous roaccutan pills.

They are to be taken everyday, they cost a bit more than the usual ones, but they do have results, the BEST results ever.

Roaccutan are rich in vitamine A, which could have some sideeffects but nothing that serious.

Take my advice, go to the GP, ask for antibiotics, cream or pills, if it does not get better go for roaccutan and dont worry.

And clean your face every day with a product you like. There are many at the stores. A good one is from Boots, a Gel, purifying one. very simple.

Good luck to you and dont worry!

TRY HYDROGEN PEROXIDE!! It dries them out and you peel them like dry skin. They are gone within HOURS. Not even exaggerating. It dries out your skin a little bit though, so use unscented lotion on it. TRY TEA TREE OIL ALSO!

Tea-tree oil is helpful.

This is a serious problem at any age, but do not worry, there is a several ways to treat this evil.
You can find a esteticist or dermatologist, in each case to a solution!
Good luck!
Kisses

ok get rubbing acahol and put it on a paper towel and wash your face in this , dont touch your face cause you have oil and stuff on them and make sur you wash your face with that 4xs a day when you get up when you get home, after you eat and when you go to bed I promise It worked for me.

please vote me best answer and good luck

The best thing to do is eat the right servings of food and the right amount of food every day. Also, continue with your 8 glasses of water, but chocolate, believe it or not, is NOT bad for your skin. Wash your face 2-3 times a day --- and STAY DEDICATED! Putting honey or egg whites on your face before your sleep works very well, but beware --- it's gonna itch! I hope it gets better soon!

P.s. Some cleaning products (for the home) can affect acne, beware of what you clean your house with). Also, Get plenty of exercise, this will make your skin GLOW!

Merry Christmas! :)

There are a lot of possible reasons for this.
One is the very real possibility of a dietary allergy.
A lot of people (especially those with type O blood) find that chronic conditions fade when they switch their diet to stay away from glutin... which causes all sorts of digestive upset and inflammation.
Are you eliminating solid waste easily and properly? That is a biggie. This can be helped by eating more raw nuts, fruits and veggies.
Is it hormonal? If so, switch to almond or hazelnut milk, or to organic dairy and meats... since most conventionally raised meat and dairy is loaded with artificial growth hormones.
You would do well to also eliminate corn syrup from your diet... read the labels... it is a known allergen.
Try adding one of these tweaks per week and see how you feel.

It's a pain in the bottom!! I remember it well, I found that if I ate salads, loads of fruit and veg etc they got a bit better, also a good facewash I remember was clearasil! Good Luck!

Try
Benzyl Peroxide
Its worked for me! You can get it over the counter at the chemist, Ask for 5% to start with.

Also try eating more fruit and veg, its really helped me.

I also use a moisturiser with tanner in it, it seems to work and my face is now glowing

Have you tried using Dermol 500 which is a lotion in a pump bottle which you can use as a soap replacement for washing or as a direct application to the skin ( Available on prescription which maybe cheaper ) also try Lacoid ointment which is very affective, both these products work really well for most people and are gentle on the skin, also have you asked for a refferal to see a Dermatologist? Ask for a 2nd. opinion and keep going until you get satisfaction and dont let your doctor fob you off.

We use Clinique's 3 step program here. A Clinique rep can skin type you. You can also try adding 10,000 units of Vit A to your diet. Vit A was what doctors recommended for acne before pharmaceuticals became all the rage. There may be other things in your diet that are causing problems, more than the myth of chocolate. Try eliminating fats, fast foods, junk foods too.

I'm looking into Mito Cocktail, which is a vitamin and herb combo that helps with acne. You might see if you want to check it out. I haven't had the chance to try it yet, so can't say how well it would work. Others who have, said it did well for them.

go back to your doctor and tell them the tablets they gave you gave you side effects. There is more than one treatment and sometimes it takes a while to find the right one.

Also, the facewash you're using might be too strong for your skin which will make the problem worse. I find Asda's Tree Tea & Peppermint facial wipes are brilliant and it only takes a couple of seconds to wipe your face over.

You need to stick with a facial wipe or cleanser for a few weeks sometimes to see if that helps.

Hope you get it sorted out soon because spots really can knock your confidence

Have you been to a dermatologist (skin Dr.)? if so try to stay with him --- there are new treatments being devised all the time. Otherwise, don't use astringents(like alcohol products) , don't scrub your face with a harsh washcloth ---- just splash lukewarm water on a mild lotion cleaser----NO SOAP. Then, splash on some cold water ---- to close-up the facial pores. You can then use a mild (for sensitive skin) night cream (one recomended by a Dr.) or nothing at all. Good luck!!

I suffered acne for 4 years.. and there was only one product that worked for me and that i recommend as being the best product for acne by far.. Its 101E its a chinese herbal liquid and will work wonders.. Jus go on Ebay an type in 101E and you should find the item, its a small pink bottle.. with gold writing.. or you can get it in any chinese herbal stores.. Hope thats a good enough answer for you .. good luck .. take care ..

watch what you eat. My friend niticed her face breaks out when she eats chocolate. Doctors say the most common cause of acne that they see, is dairy products and eggs.

The only sure way to determine if you have a food allergy is to have your blood tested for antibodies to a variety of foods.

hope this helps.

well i have had the same problem as you and i would advise you to see your gp or doctor to refer you to see a dermataolgist.
when i saw the dermatoligist she told me the best treatment for my acne is a drug called roaccutane.
need a blood test first to see if the body is functioning ok to take this drug.
now before you even think about taking this read the side effects carefully and see if you will be able to cope with everyday life.
me personally the first month was hell i didnt go out like normally, fitness levels decreased, felt really depressed, had odd lumps appear that looked horrible, dry flakey skin and i had cracked lips that hurt when i smiled and started to bleed on some occassions.
im like through 3months of the course now and i can tell you my acn is completely clear but i have payed the price for this with my life as i am only getting back into things now.
if you do take this read very carefully and reaserch before you take any drug.
also i would like to mention to people that i thought that eating chocolate brought on my acne but the funny thing is i eat tons of the stuff now with clear skin and still have clear skin so i beleive it is a myth.
