Heavy feeling in throat where neck and chest meet....?!

Question: hello. I am 19 years old and have OCD and a phobia of HIV.

I am a virgin saving myself for marriage. I do not use IV drugs and my parents are completely healthy.

What could this be?

Is this a sign of HIV?

Is this a heart attack from all of the stress from OCD and my phobia?

I am breathing fine but I feel this heavy feeling or this tight type feeling but am getting plenty of air....

what is this?

It is definitely from stress.
And it is definitely not HIV.
No matter how much you want to believe it, you do not have HIV and you will not get HIV unless you do anything sexual or do any drugs that use needles. You are fine hun lol.
I proooomiseee =]

Have your thyroid gland checked out.

ur probably stressed out that happens to me when im stressed

Maybe a burp is coming. Or it could be you are tensing up from stress and it's just a tight muscle.

Go to the doctor.
Or you might just be a hypochondriac. Or just overreacting!

Sounds like an anxiety attack

it's called anxiety. you're probably not having a heart attack but the symptoms of anxiety can mimic HA. and if you're a virgin please explain how you might have got HIV -- oral sex qualifies as sex so you would be a non-virgin if you've done this. likewise fooling around down there without penetration hardly qualifies you as a virgin unless you want to get really technical.

you might want to lighten up and figure out WHY you have OCD. there are therapists who can help you.

It is time to start seeing a psychiatrist if you aren't already. It appears to be in your head. Of course it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out by your primary care doctor. Could be GERD or something.

hey Sounds like you are having an anxiety Attack just calm down it can cause chest tightness and chest pains just try some deep breathing and to relax and if you cant control this by deep breathing and relaxing then you need to talk to you doctor for suggestions maybe medication I really you you feel better.
