Answers: Isn't a fever usually a sign of an infection?

Questions #1: It's normal to have a fever with a cold but a fever doesn't always accompany a cold. Either way is "normal" -- to have one or not have one.

Question #2: What did you think a cold was? It's an upper respiratory infection.

yes it is but dont let it go up too much...hope you feel better dear

Fevers accompany infections and viruses. Drink plenty of fluids but if it persists for more than three days see a physician.

no a fever is quite normal for a cold, The body heats up in an attempt to burn out the disease. just keep wharm and eat wharm things /w bubbly drinks to settle the stomach if it hurts.

fever=infection. so its def. not a cold. if you are expieriencing cold symptoms too then its prob a sinus infection. go to the doctor

it is normal. a cold is an viral infection that you body is fighting off, that is why you get a temp.
