Cough Question?!

Question: My cough starts up when I come inside from the cold or whenever I eat hot food...is that bronchitis...or allergies or what? Everytime I mention my cough, somebody suggests it's allergies. I wonder if that is valid because I never mentioned the hot/cold issue before today.
What can you tell me?

When your out in the cold the mucous in your lungs and nasal passages thickens up, then when you come into the warm house the mucous thins out due to the heat and it starts running from your nose down to your throat and that makes you choke. I suggest Mucinex, I have the same thing and it really works. It does sound like allergies.
