Blackhead cleansers?!
Question: I'm having a bit of trouble with blackheads all over my nose. I also have somewhat acne prone skin. I can't seem to find any cleansers that actually get rid of the blackheads and control the rest of my slight acne issue. Anyone have any favorite products they use for this kind of thing? Any recommendations?

I am of the opinion that breakouts and blackheads are sometimes caused by stripping the skin of its natural oils so that the skin produces more oil to compensate. I have been using a milk type cleanser, a gentle toner and a good moisturizer and have noticed a significant decrease in blackheads on my nose. I also use a microdermabrasion cream once a week to clear off dead skin. I like boots no. 7 which is a Target brand so it's relatively inexpensive but comparable to many expensive products that I've tried.
Now, I am basing my answer on the assumption that by acne prone skin you mean that you get pimples on a regular basis but they're not all over your cheeks or your forehead. If you actually get acne then you may want to visit the dermatologist for some treatment ideas.
Use a toner. Easy.

blackheads need to removed, they cannot be cleaned out. . .
Try getting a professional facial to help clean and clear some of the problems.
Also see if you can get into see a dermatologist, you problem may be bigger than hygiene.
Acne can be embarrassing at the best of times. I would try going into a site called Epinions.com and find out what users are saying about various products. Good hygene which involves regular bathing helps a lot. Good internal health is a major contributor to healthy skin. Try and stay away from the junk foods. I
