I think my facial hair growing is causing acne breakouts (details)?!

Question: It seems like anytime I get my hair cut and they cut the "peach" fuzz along my jaw I break out within the next week or so when it starts growing back.

Am I just imagining things or is that possible?

How can I stop the breakouts its only the area that facial hair is growing in. My forehead, nose, and upper cheeks are practically flawless.

Well, I dont want to sound like Im making a racial comment, but you wouldnt happen to be African American would ya? Or do you have curly hair? The reason why I ask these questions is because guys with curly hair will sometimes have their regrowth actuall grow back into the skin. Causing irritation and breakouts. What happens is that when the hair grows back, it doesnt break thru the skin. This will cause an irritation which makes you itch causing a bigger break out. Im a white guy with really curly locks and have had this battle for years. There really is nothing you can do. I have found that by using a different razor every third time helps. Also, I usually let my facial hair grow a little longer giving me a cleaner shave.

Use a new razor each time you shave... the best remedy - I've tried Pro Active and them all is pine tar soap - it's 3 - 4 dollars a bar and you can get it at a vitamin store. It's amazing!!!! Try it Please!!!! you won't be disappointed, someone here recommended it. My brother-in- law used it years ago as it was recommended to him by his dermatologist. Wash your face , neck, wherever the acne is twice a day, leave the lathered on soap on for ten minutes at least to dry. Then wash it off. It has antibacterial properties and it's amazing! It's cleared up my forehead better than antibiotics,,, good luck....

use a new razor each time. I think u have ingrown hairs honey,,so use a product containing glycolic acid or salicylic acid. This will help you massively.
