Maybe you've just been harboring it for 10 months and didn't know it or he's not telling you the truth.

I've also heard of people getting it in public restrooms but I'm not sure how true that is.

Sorry hon, make sure you take all your meds. If it Flagel (sp?) make sure you don't take it on an empty stomach.

Someone is lying.

Trichomonas is only spread through sexual contact. Sorry. One of you was not being faithful. You know for sure if you were.

Trichomonas is NOT an std. It can happen by an organism in your vagina. I have had this once before and it is a yeast infection that needs a special treatment.

it is a std, look it up on at the center for disease control and you can learn everything about it, including what you doctor knows.
Trichomonas vaginalis is a microscopic parasite found worldwide. Infection with Trichomonas is called trichomoniasis (trick-oh-moe-nye-uh-sis). Trichomoniasis is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases, mainly affecting sexually active women. In North America, it is estimated that more than 8 million new cases are reported yearly.
Trichomoniasis is spread through sexual activity. Infection is more common in women who have had multiple sexual partners.

A common misbelief is that infection can be spread by a toilet seat; this isn't likely, since the parasite cannot live long in the environment or on objects.

The normal incubation period is 4-28 days. The onset of symptoms such as vaginal or vulval pruritus and discharge is often sudden and occurs during or after menstruation as a result of the increased vaginal acidity.

trich doesn't always have to come from sex all the time.
That type of bacteria can live on moist clothing or towels that you may have shared with someone else.
