Sweetie,
You really do need to get to a neurologist ASAP.
If it always happens when youy fall asleep, try asking for a sleep study.
They'll hook all sorts of wires and monitors to you and ask you to go to sleep.

You need to see a doctor immediately. It does sound like you are having seizures.

I couldn't say with certainty that you experienced seizure activity. Most times, one isn't aware of the seizure. You state that after this episode you were shaking and sweating, couldn't breathe and had tachycardia. Most people are extremely fatigued after a seizure and often have urinated and/or defecated on themselves. The period after a seizure is called the post-ictal phase. Some other post-ictal symptoms are confusion, fear, shame, memory loss, difficulty talking, pain, thirst, headache and nausea. You haven't mentioned any of these or other post-ictal symptoms. I suggest that you be seen by your doctor for a full evaluation. This may not have been a seizure but it still needs to be addressed.
