Is it better to pop a pimple or leave it alone?!

Technically, it is better to leave alone since popping will expose the open area to bacteria and risk infection. But lets face it, there's nothing better than popping a big zit on the bathroom mirror and leaving the pus there.

you can pop a pimple especially becuase they are SOOOO annoying but use to Q-tips intead of your fingers, that way you wont scar.

Just leave it alone bro i had one on my face once and poped it it then got infected and grew larger and lasted on my face for about 4 months the little scar mark is still their so best advice just leave it bro

Leave it alone. If it is really bothering you go to a dermatologist and the doctor there can do something with it. If you pop it, that can get infected.
If it looks like it's still not ready to pop yet, don't pop it. You will leave a scar, or what's called a pock mark & they don't go away easily. It will also get the pimple site infected & it will get worse. I usually use a facial mask to reduce the blemish & to hopefuly reduce the pimple & avoid scarring when it does pop. If the pimple looks like it's ready to pop, you can help it pop, but please be clean & cautious so it doesn't get infected & leaves a "hole" & your face won't look like the surface of the moon. Leave it alone. Breaking it could leave a scar or mark. When its time is up it will break itself and you should clean off the mucus. That way it is matured and will less likely to leave a mark if you take care of it well. Immature pimples also have active mucus that can spread to other places so it is recommended to leave it as it is. Just put some aloe vera (preferably fresh ones from the plant itself) every day and it will heal quickly and will not leave any signs. Also take plenty of water, sleep early and don't receive too much sunlight or eat too much fried foods or the heat will make them bigger and more will grow.
