Exercise-induced asthma?!
Question: I work out on a consistent basis and consider myself to be in pretty good shape. Lately I have been developing some serious wheezing on inhalation and I need to stop my workout to catch my breath - it's pretty scary. Am I developing what's known as sports-induced asthma and should I get an inhaler?

See your doctor to be sure - there'sa fine line between asthma and allergies, so you want to make sure. If you are given a fast acting inhalor (like albuterol), if you use it 10 minutes before your work-out you should be fine; also, make sure you're drinking enough water.
You should be evaluated by your doctor.
It sure sounds like it. I have it and it is worse in winter when I breathe in cold air. Go see a lung Dr. They can tell you for sure if you have it and how to treat it. GL
you should see a doctor...you need a prescription for an inhaler
I agree with the second poster - and I'm the same way. It's especially bad in the winter with cold air. I use an inhaler, but you need a prescription - so off to the pulmonologist!
