What do i do to get rid of the ACNE ?!

Question: I've answered similar questions. This is one answer which I have said and I think it will help you.

...Wash your face two times a day - once in the morning and the other time before you go to bed. Don't overwash. After washing up, apply an OTC topical cream that contains benzoyl peroxide (BP) in it. It kills the bacteria and stops the oil glands to some extent. If you are allergic to BP, try other creams that contain sulfur. For your facial wash, try to get something that has salicylic acid or BP in it. The former will slough off dead skin cells on the surface of your face that will clog pores. After that, apply an oil-control moisturizer. Try Oxy products, I think they're great. Your supposedly "sensitive skin" is probably a result of harsh ance products on your skin.

Just a thought, since you have seen a doctor (a family doctor?), what did he or she prescribe to you? According to my own experience, they have probably prescribe you with a BP in a higher strength or Differin gels etc. The latter works by making your face slough off dead cells faster and shrinking your oil glands. Or in moderate cases, they will probably get you antibiotics. But it's bad for you. [[If you have time, go google Accutane. It's almost a miracle drug for many but you have to get it from a dermatologist. Go read up on it.]]

You are probably still a teen? - hormones are raging. It sucks, I know. But most importantly, don't pick OR EVEN TOUCH your pimples. Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 (at least) so that your acne won't flare up after being under the sun for some time (it saves you from skin cancer too). Drink enough water. And wipe away your sweat when you are perspiring heavily. Lastly, go read up on a low GI and high protein diet on the Internet.

By the way, I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Acne-prone Skin. It's under $10 - get it at Wal-mart or Target.

More importantly, exude confidence in yourself! Good luck!

Take lots of showers..
Or the number one America's choice.. "Proactive"

I would suggest cutting down on sugars and junk food and washing with a good, natural based cleaner and using pure witch hazel as a toner. All 3 of my teens (19, 18 and 15) have done this with excellent results. I've also recommended it with good results to clients. Use the witch hazel 2-3 times a day. It's all natural with no chemicals. Also, if you wear makeup, make sure you're cleaning it off thoroughly each night with washing then using the witch hazel. It would be better for your skin if you could not use the makeup or switch to a mineral based makeup.

i bought proactiv (after years of trying a lot of other stuff) and my acne got even more horrible. then i found out that im allergic to benzoyle peroxide, and a lot ofthe things i used before was full of it.

the best thing i've done is actually to go to the dermatologist.

buti i still am convinced proactiv is good product. you just have to make sure your not allergic to it like me.

The best way in treating pimples and acne is to use benzoyl peroxide 5% gel (available at your local drug store) to the involved areas at night and NeoStrata alpha hydroxyacid in the morning (without using prescription medication). Some people are allergic to benzoyl peroxide. A product named Tend Skin is an effective acne treatment. Another advice is to wash your face twice a day with a mild non-soap cleanser. Do not pick or squeeze your pimples, as it can leave scars. Acne surgery can be done using sterile instruments to remove blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples.

They have some over the counter products that can help clear up your skin. Some good brands to look for are neutrogena, and aveeno. If these are not enough for you sometimes you need to go to the dermatologist and they can prescribe topicals and oral antibiotics, these medications take a long time to see results but once they start working, you'll be happy you stayed committed. My best advice would to see a dermatologist.

Also drink plenty of water!

Hope your skin clears up!
