What makes a good zit-popping?!

Question: is it the pinch approach? or the fingernail drag?
or some other method i'm unaware of?

The main cause of scarring from DIY self-popping is bacteria infection. Infection causes scar to form in the broken skin caused by improper squeezing.

Always disinfect your skin, hands, and equipment used prior to procedure. Use a blackhead removal tool with a wire 'o' shape grip and apply steady downwards pressure DIRECTLY on the pimple. Do not apply slanted pressure that will scrape the skin and cause surface abrasion.

Once the pimple pops, squeeze the pus out of the wound and dry it out with astringent (anti-bacteria lotion for face). Apply a sulfur-based cream on the area to disinfect and help the wound dry out and heal.

If the pimple will not pop with steady downward pressure using the removal tool. Do not force it out, but use a sterile needle to create a small puncture hole on the pimple and squeeze the pus out using the removal tool again.

Do use the puncture needle with care. This method is used by professionals for stubborn zits and black/white head removals. If not sure, please consult a competent beautician for proper treatment.
