if you have spots due to fungus, then it will help.
if you're talking about acne then it depends on the type of acne you have. If it is just surface acne, then it would kill some of the bacteria due to the UV lights. If it is a deep, hard, red spot it would be best to see a dermatologist and get on some medication for it.
Yes the UV rays actually kill the fungus that causes skin spots. Some people swear that they get the sunspots from the tanning bed, but it is a fungus that can be treated by your dermatologist. Both will get rid of them.
i've heard that any sort of tanning casuses more spots! howeverrrr, i also heard that using any sort of anti-fungal cream on them works wonders.
