Bronchitis and CF?!

Question: I want to take my 5 year old to a "movie in the park" this evening, but am faced with a bit of a dilemma. My daughter, 11 months, suffers from CF and currently has bronchitis. Would be it irresponsible to take her out in the evening given her current health? Bearing in mind, it is summer where I live and it is likely to be quite a nice temperature tonight, not cold. My partner has spoken with his mother about it and she doesn't think we should, but I just want to get a second opinion.

It is fine to take her to the park. Make sure she wears warm clothing even though it might not get that cold (aka jacket). If it would make you feel better have her wear a mask. Make sure you take anti-bacterial hand soap with you. We take Jonathan different places even though he is sick as long as there aren't going to be other kids with CF (burkholderia cepacia risk and all). If you feel that she's uncomfortable you can always leave early, but I think she'll be fine. Have fun!!

No, you don;t want to exposse her to other people's germs. She has CF so she is gonna get sick a lot. It is best to keep her away from other people.
