Question: ok, i know that dark chocolate helps lowers the risk of lung cancer because of the flavonoids in it...but will eating foods with flavonoids in them help you after you've been diagnosed?

Flavonoids are antioxidants. If a person has been diagnosed, very often the course of therapy will include chemotherapy. Many chemotherapeutic agents work as free radicals (oxidants), which go right to the cancer cells and smash them.

Taking any supplemental anti-oxidants can actually interfere with chemotherapy. Some doctors recommend discontinuing all anti-oxidant supplements while on chemotherapy, and certainly for a few days before/after infusion.

After treatments are complete, it should be ok to indulge.

I just answered your other question. If you are looking for a food to cure your cancer, you are not going to find it.

the most important thing is just stay away from cigarete
