Every time I eat, I feel like throwing up?!

Question: For a week now, I have not been able to eat much at all. I usually eat something small a day, like a bowl of cereal. Sometimes, I cannot even eat that! As for water, I am always getting thirsty and have a dry mouth, but water tastes horrible now, and I still feel like throwing up even if I drink that. I have not been to the point where I have actually thrown up, but the feeling is greatly there. I, honestly did overdose with Tylenol-500mg. I took 15 of them. Do you think that has something to do with it? I only lost about 7 pounds in the first few days, but have been at a constant weight every since. Any thoughts? Thank you.

People have died from doses of tylenol in much lower amounts than you took, so it possible this is the cause, although people have vastly different tolerances. It sounds like you may have damaged your kidneys. The kidneys regulate blood pH. When they are damaged, the blood can become slightly acidic and this causes nausea, thirst, a metallic taste, and loss of appetite. You might consider visiting the doc to get your kidneys checked out - if your kidneys are damaged, you may be able to salvage them with proper treatment. if there is irreversible damage, a person with kidney failure needs to be on dialysis the rest of their life.

well a thought would be, stop taking tylenol, its going to kill ur liver if not already, also tylenol is really hard on ur stomach.

im sorry, i hate that u feel that way. maybee u should c a doc.
