i have one right now . I have had another one in the past it should take around a week with doctors supervision. My was 90% collapsed but that was me and im not a doctor .

My girlfriend had one a few yrs. ago and the last cat scan they did on her showed that it hadn't healed, she thinks with medicine though that they can heal it. Hers was only partially collapsed, between 30 and 40 percent. We think it has healed on its own by now though, because she seems to be okay. Hope this helps.
