i have this aveeno ultra-calming lotion that i use on my face.. it's supposed to reduce redness. i also put it on after i shave down there & i think it really helps to calm the skin down & reduce razor burn.. it's not very expensive either, you can get it at the drug store. i would try that before anything else :)

i think you could be allergic to something. soap shaving cream etc. try your local pharmacy and see what they recommend.

that is razor burn. use my shaving cream and make sure you never shave dry or with a electric razor. put some lotion on afterwards.
